At the time of my hiring, the project was in trouble. IBM, the lead vendor, struggled with completing the business requirements and as a result, project delivery date was pushed one year. Worked with Executive Management and the Vendor Program Manager to bring the project back under control.
Directed a project team of 15 Business Analysts, and re-engineered all business processes associated with Auto Insurance. Scope of the project included 120 insurance business processes, 485 UI screens, linkage to three major subsidiaries, 10 third party vendors, 40 interfaces with legacy databases, and three state agencies.
Delivered 130+ re-engineered business processes and all associated business requirements, functional requirements, UI requirements, testing scenarios, and test scripts for all requirements for the new set of applications. Instituted best practices, and created complete traceability in Rational Requisite Pro from requirements to functional design, and linked this data to the test conditions and test scripts in Mercury Test Director.

Government Mandated $40MM project to convert all security trading from fractional trading to decimal trading. Project included integration with all brokerage houses, clearing houses, and stock exchanges
Directed the development of the project methodology, business rules, requirements, and templates for the Q/A project functions. Negotiated cross-organizational ground rules for tracking/reporting standards & definitions. Directed and managed Decimalization Project Office web site.

BA Investment services acquired a Seattle based brokerage firm. Post acquisition, Sr. Management noted a lower revenue stream than was forecasted. Client experienced a disappointing Post Merger revenue Stream. I was retained to examine the shortfall - and perform a forensic analysis of the merger transactions, compute losses, and make recommendations for improvement, and/or recovery of lost revenues. Performed post-acquisition analysis and computed estimated losses due to lost client accounts. Reviewed back-office transaction processing operations and prepared recommendations for system integration, policies and procedures, and system maintenance. Instituted a new post acquisition procedure to compare client accounts during initial due diligence and post acquisition. Procedures was added as Standard Practice for all investment brokerage account acquisitions
